Create your account
Choose how to enter Orbit Moon, protect the recovery path and confirm the account is ready.
TL;DR
- Choose an available sign-in route whose recovery boundary you understand.
- Every new Orbit account receives a 12-word recovery phrase. Protect it offline.
- Confirm the account and active address before sending funds.
An Orbit account is your identity across discovery, profiles, Coin Pods and wallets. The first choice is how you want to prove it belongs to you.
1. Choose how to enter
Choose the access you can recover
Open Connect and compare the available sign-in choices. Every route creates or enters an Orbit account, and every new Orbit account receives its own recovery phrase. If you connect an external wallet, that wallet still keeps its separate address, private key and recovery method with its provider.
Match the route to how you work
Decide which boundary you can protect over time, not only which button is familiar. Example: someone who already backs up an external wallet may keep that address, while someone who wants device or social access may choose an available Orbit-managed route.
2. Complete the verification
Read what the request proves
Follow the labelled sign-in or verification request. A wallet sign-in message proves control of an address and does not move funds; choose Cancel if the request instead describes an unfamiliar transaction.
Complete the first successful return
Wait for Orbit to open your account rather than repeating the request. Example: if an external wallet finishes signing but the window is slow to close, check the Orbit screen before choosing the sign-in route again.
3. Protect the recovery path
Save the Orbit phrase once
Every new Orbit account provides a 12-word Orbit recovery phrase. Record it offline, in order, and confirm that you saved it. The Orbit recovery phrase restores the Orbit account; it does not restore an external wallet’s separate seed phrase.
Understand what recovery changes
Decide where the private backup can be found without putting it in screenshots, cloud notes or support messages. Example: after a successful recovery, save the new phrase because the phrase that was used is no longer the active recovery secret.
4. Confirm the first entry
Confirm the account identity
Open the account area and check that the profile belongs to the access route you chose. Decide whether to add public details now or continue with a private minimal profile.
Confirm the wallet context
Open the wallet area and compare the displayed active address. Example: copy the full address from Orbit rather than relying on a shortened address remembered from another screen.
Recovery information is control
Anyone with recovery words or a private key can take control. Orbit Support will never ask you to reveal either one.
