Orbit Moon

Create your first coin

Create a launch draft, complete its setup and understand each decision before the market can open.

TL;DR

  • Choose the permanent name, symbol and 10, 25 or 50 ETH graduation target.
  • Build the public identity, creator economy, Coin Pod and avatar.
  • Deploy the coin, welcome the community, then choose when trading opens on Day 4.

Trading is currently paused

Buying and selling are currently paused across Orbit Moon. The first four days let creators learn, prepare their Coin Pod, invite people and build community. When trading returns platform-wide on Day 4, creators can activate immediately or wait.

This guide covers the launch: permanent choices first, then what people will meet.

1. Create the draft

Give your coin an identity

Names can repeat, so choose a distinctive name. A symbol is the coin’s short identifier—for example, MOON—shown in wallets, markets and interfaces. The name and symbol become permanent at deployment. Symbols use up to 10 uppercase letters (A–Z) or numbers (0–9). Six characters or fewer is recommended for X because shorter symbols display cleanly.

Choose how your launch grows

The graduation target is the ETH threshold the launch curve must reach before the coin graduates. It permanently sets its capital and price scale. 10 ETH can fit a new audience, 25 ETH early support and 50 ETH an established audience ready to invite. It signals readiness, not a demand forecast or guarantee.

Example: a new project might choose the lower target; an established community may choose more runway. Match the launch you can explain, not the number that sounds impressive.

Create the draft

Once those decisions are clear, create the Orbit Moon draft. Complete every field, including the graduation target, and accept the Terms of Creation. If the button says Connect, connect your wallet; then choose Create coin. Orbit reserves the address and opens its dashboard.

Good to know

A draft is not on Base Chain and cannot be bought. Deleting it and starting again reserves a different address.

2. Add the metadata

Tell people what they have found

Choose the category that best describes the coin, then use the description to define its purpose, vision and what makes it unique. Use AI to rewrite the description for a different tone and length, then review the result.

Make the coin recognisable

Upload a logo and banner, or use AI to generate either one. Review and edit every generated result. Example: keep the logo clear at small sizes and let the banner extend the same visual idea.

Connect the official channels

Add the project’s socials and verify each one. Only verified links are saved and shown to users.

3. Set the creator economy

Decide where value flows

Allocate the creator share from trading fees across holders, named wallets, buyback and burn, and liquidity; the total must be 100%.

Explain what the split signals

All to named creator wallets can fund operators directly; a broader split can involve holders and market support. Neither is automatically good or bad. Use the explanation field to say why. Example: a studio might fund production wallets; a community-led project may choose holder and liquidity shares.

4. Customise your Pod

Set the atmosphere

Choose primary, secondary and floor colours, then tune the lighting. Make the shared Pod distinctive without losing readability. Example: use warm, focused lighting for a broadcast or brighter contrast for a busy Coin Pod.

Make the Pod unmistakably yours

Your saved logo and banner are already placed in the Pod when you enter. Customise the banner text with a welcome, message or moment that gives people a reason to look up.

5. Customise the avatar

The avatar represents the project.

Shape the base look

Choose colours, roughness and metalness for each editable material while the live preview shows every change.

Create a texture with AI

Use AI to generate an avatar texture, then choose one supported material or every available texture slot. Example: repeat one pattern for a group identity, or keep it to one material so the base colours lead.

Review what people will see

Review the live preview before saving, then the public cover Orbit captures on save. Avatar minting is available on Day 0.

6. Deploy coin

Review the permanent deployment

Deployment puts the coin on Base Chain and gives the creator the coin-owner NFT. Its public Orbit page appears as Coming Soon, so people can discover the project before trading begins. Verify the permanent name, symbol, target, percentages and wallet addresses before the contract becomes irreversible.

Deploy once the complete story agrees

Choose Deploy Coin when the identity, economy, Pod and avatar agree. Orbit pays for deployment, but the contracts are irreversible. Example: if the explanation promises a holder share that is zero, return to the split first.

7. Activate trading

Separate deployment from activation

Activation brings community and market together. Deployment does not activate the curve; buying and selling are currently paused. On Day 4, activate immediately or wait until people have met the project in its Coin Pod.

Recheck what the market will meet

Before activation, verify the address, identity, creator-economy explanation and community experience. Example: publish a welcome update and host a Pod broadcast so traders meet context and people, not an empty chart.

Common questions

When is my coin fully set up?

The four editable tasks—metadata, creator economy, Coin Pod and avatar—unlock Deploy Coin. Deployment unlocks activation. The coin is fully set up only after activation, which is currently paused until Day 4.

What does the graduation target mean for my coin?

The permanent target sets the curve’s ETH threshold and price range. Every target uses the same one-billion-token supply and same 4× rise. It is not a score or proof of demand. Choose how your launch grows explains the trade-offs.

What does the creator economy communicate?

The creator share can flow to holders, named wallets, buyback and burn, and liquidity. This communicates intent; it is not proof of fairness or outcomes. Decide how your coin earns follows the complete share.

Why should I explain the split?

The optional explanation is public, limited to 240 characters and shown beside the split. Use it to say why each destination fits; without it, the percentages appear without a reason.

How much can I use the AI tools?

Defaults give each signed-in user five image generations per UTC day, shared by the logo, banner and avatar texture, plus ten description rewrites. Limits can change; trust the counter beside each AI control.

What happens if content is flagged by moderation?

Orbit assesses the name, symbol, description, logo, banner and avatar cover. Flagged content is tagged, not blocked, and hidden from discovery by default. Pending content is also hidden; a corrupt image must be re-uploaded.

What can I change later?

Name, symbol, graduation target and address are permanent. Description, artwork, Pod and avatar remain editable. Creator economy changes have a seven-day timelock. You can also transfer the coin-owner NFT in the product.
