# Audio settings

### **Access Audio Settings:**

* **Open the Menu:** Select the menu button, represented by three horizontal lines (☰), located in the top right corner of the interface. This will open the main menu.
* **Select Settings:** From the menu, choose the settings option, indicated by the cog icon. Navigate to the Audio Settings section.

### **Turn Sound On and Off:**

* **Toggle Sound:** Use the sound toggle switch to turn all sound on or off. This is useful for quickly muting the application when needed.

### **Adjust Ambience Volume:**

* **Use the Slider:** Adjust the ambience volume slider to increase or decrease the volume of background sounds and ambient noise. Higher volume provides a richer environmental sound, while lower volume can make background noise less intrusive.

### **Adjust Effects Volume:**

* **Use the Slider:** Adjust the effects volume slider to control the volume of in-game sound effects, such as footsteps, item interactions, and other actions. Higher volume enhances the prominence of sound effects, while lower volume reduces their impact.

### **Adjust Music/TV Volume:**

* **Use the Slider:** Adjust the music/TV volume slider to set the volume level for in-game music or media playing within the virtual environment. Higher volume makes the music or media more audible, while lower volume can make them less prominent.

## Benefits of Audio Settings:

* **Personalized Sound Experience:** Customize the audio settings to suit your personal preferences and create the ideal sound environment for your experience.
* **Quick Muting:** Easily turn all sound on or off with a single toggle switch for convenience.
* **Balanced Audio Levels:** Adjust the volume levels for different audio components to achieve the perfect balance between ambience, effects, and music/TV sounds.
* **Enhanced Focus:** Lower or mute specific audio elements to reduce distractions and enhance focus on important sounds or activities.
